Linda Philipson (Bamford)

Linda has practised in Nelson since she trained with David Orchard, a highly respected lawyer. He practised in the areas of law that are now Linda’s fields of interest and specialisation. Since then, she has worked with Bamford Law and Isherwood Le Gros Law. Linda joined Grant Pearson in the new firm LegalFocus Ltd, where she continues to serve the same clients. Many of whom she has worked with for decades, often with more than one generation of the family are clients.

Linda’s attention to detail and determination to see clients secure the property and business deals they want goes without saying. Her clients appreciate her thoughtfulness and respect for them. Often legal issues arise during challenging times, whether it is purchasing a first home, dealing with serious illness, or simply providing for changing family circumstances, Linda’s genuine and caring support in these times is the hallmark of how she practices law.

Linda completed her Masters in English at Canterbury University. She then lived in Europe for many years, working as an editor, teaching in the German Air Force and at the German Diplomat School, and later working in commercial project management. The Federal Government trained her to teach technical experts language skills in Germany; these skills contribute to her work today.
